About the job
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team and work alongside our Operations Manager in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires a proven track record of managing large teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and maintaining high standards to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including the yard and lorry loading.
- Conduct staff briefings and ensure smooth workflow throughout the day.
- Supervise and support trade counter operations while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Perform stock checks, cut counts, and stock takes to ensure accuracy.
- Act as a master key holder, responsible for securing the premises.
- Manage the daily activities of supervisors and team leaders to ensure efficiency.
- Conduct quality control checks and uphold high operational standards.
- Oversee maintenance service checks on cutting machines.
- Monitor performance and implement troubleshooting strategies where necessary.
- Ensure all processes and quality standards are consistently met.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align warehouse operations with supplier demands.
- Provide support to the operations management team as required.
