About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Sales to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. This role will be pivotal in expanding our market presence and building strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for achieving results.
*This position will require you to be full time on-site at our Headquarters location in Santa Clara. Local candidates preferred.**
What You’ll Do
- Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with Aantomage’s overall business goals
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success
- Identify new market opportunities and establish strong relationships with key clients.
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs, providing regular reports to the executive team on sales performance and forecasts
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and enhance the customer experience
- Oversee sales budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
- Proven experience in education sales with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and analytics
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Experience in Ed-Tech is a plus
- Local candidates highly preferred. This is a fulltime on side position.
