Key Responsibilities of a Vision Center Manager L3
Driving Sales & Customer Satisfaction
- Lead merchandise presentation, ensuring competitive pricing, proper signage, and optimized inventory.
- Develop sales forecasts and assess economic trends to meet community needs.
- Guide associates in customer service excellence, ensuring timely resolution of concerns.
Community Engagement & Compliance
- Implement and support community outreach programs, encouraging associate participation.
- Maintain compliance with company and legal policies, ensuring high safety and quality standards.
- Oversee asset protection and confidentiality of records.
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop associates for growth within the Vision Center.
- Foster an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes professional advancement.
- Uphold Walmart’s Open Door Policy, addressing associate concerns effectively.
Eyewear & Optical Services
- Consult with customers, educate them on eyewear products, and verify prescriptions.
- Perform minor frame repairs and maintain optical equipment.
Operational Excellence & Strategic Initiatives
- Develop business plans, set goals, and measure progress for operational improvements.
- Utilize data insights to drive performance and implement innovative solutions.
- Adapt to changing retail trends to meet customer demands effectively.

Hourly wage range: $30.50-$43.00 (Actual pay based on location and experience). Additional compensation may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Sales Volume Category (SVC) incentives.
Qualifications for Vision Center Manager L3
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of 2+ years of college OR
- 1 year of retail & 1 year of supervisory experience OR
- 2 years of general work experience, including 1 year in optical services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician per state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising associates.
