I am a former executive TV producer turned freelance voice actor and content creator. After setting up my home VO studio in 2018 I have landed countless gigs in commercial, audio books, corporate, meditation, AI and more. It’s time to take my VO skills to the next level and branch out into wider job pools.
My background in comedy, producing /editing and deep understanding of pop culture, and ability to stay ahead of trends uniquely position me to produce engaging short-form social media content as both a producer and editor. I’m building my presence on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn to connect with clients and showcase my skills.
About the Role
I am looking for a skilled and experienced Virtual Assistant to help establish, optimize, and collaborate with me to help me best manage my freelance profiles on platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. I currently have profiles with these sites but I feel they need work in order to be successful. In some cases, we may need to create separate profiles on these platforms to differentiate my work as a voice actor from my work as a content creator. Additionally, I need support in enhancing my existing webpage to effectively guide potential clients in working with me.
Responsibilities
- Profile Creation & Optimization:
- Refine my already built profiles on Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn tailored to my skills and expertise.
- Craft compelling descriptions, taglines, and skill showcases. Help add photos and videos of my talent highlights.
- Incorporate SEO strategies to improve discoverability and engagement.
- Provide evidence or examples of previous successful profiles you’ve created or managed.
- Webpage Support:
- Improve the design and functionality of my existing webpage to better reflect my brand.
- Add clear pathways and information to guide clients on working with me via freelance platforms or directly.
- Ensure the webpage is user-friendly, professional, and aligned with my style.
- Research & Strategy:
- Research industry trends and successful practices on freelance platforms.
- Provide recommendations for making my profiles and webpage more competitive.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in creating and optimizing profiles on Fiverr, Upwork, and LinkedIn specifically for Voice Actors and content creators.
- Strong understanding of SEO and platform algorithms and what it takes for VO actors and content creators to be paired with the right partnerships.
- Proven success in helping clients generate leads and secure freelance work through these platforms.
- Experience with website design or improvement, especially for freelancers or creative professionals.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging to reflect my personal brand.
Preferred Skills
- Background in working with creatives, voice actors, or media professionals.
- Familiarity with pop culture and trends in social media and entertainment.
- Knowledge of tools like WordPress, Squarespace, or similar platforms for webpage updates.
