Company Overview: For over 40 years, our client has supported owners and operators of critical infrastructure by designing, supplying, and erecting custom steel buildings.
Position Title: VP of Operations
Summary of Duties: This role involves leading and mentoring the Directors of Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. The VP of Operations will oversee project execution from client purchase order to final delivery, ensuring quality management, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities also include finalizing standard operating procedures (SOPs), driving ISO certification efforts, and collaborating with senior leadership to align operational goals with the company’s strategy.
Compensation: $200K base salary with a 40% target bonus
Schedule: Typically 7-5 or 8-6 with half-day Fridays
Reporting Structure: Reports to the COO
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering and construction
- Proven experience in managing and leading Directors
