Valuations Manager – Valuation & Business Modelling
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: Competitive Market Rate on offer
Paritas is working with a leading Professional Services firm with a strong global presence that is looking for a Valuations Manager to join their growing team in Doha.
Responsibilities:
- Performs analyses and applies a logical, structured, and disciplined approach to translate key financial and commercial aspects of a transaction into useful insights.
- Interprets and synthesizes data, exercises professional skepticism to challenge data, and identifies meaningful insights to develop recommendations that most effectively support a client’s deal objectives
- Prepares work plan to meet objectives within established budget and timeline
- Oversees the quality of deliverables of team and builds/maintains client relationships to ensure exceptional performance
- Researches pertinent client, industry, and technical matters, while using a data-driven approach to derive solutions
- Reviews and analyzes historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets to identify risks or price affecting considerations
- Owns all the areas of engagement management and risk management
- Provide valuation analyses for tax, financial reporting or other regulatory, compliance or management planning requirements
- Leads and coaches a team to conduct valuation for financial reporting and tax purposes
- Generates independent insightful valuations for financial reporting, tax, or other purposes
Requirements:
- Strong experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/ Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking/ Merchant Banking, preferably in the Corporate Finance Department with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modelling and restructuring, raising debt or equity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people, plan components of engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
- Recognized accounting qualification and/or CFA/CBV/CA certification preferred – otherwise MBA or equivalent, with emphasis on finance/financial planning or investment analysis.
- Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred
