Senior Utilities Plumber

  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience in an industrial or utility-producing system as a plumber.
  • Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on large-diameter piping within the campus main transmission water systems.
  • Additional Requirements: Must hold a valid driver’s license. Obtain TCEQ Class C Wastewater Treatment or Wastewater Collection II and TCEQ Class C Water Operator certification within six months of employment.

Utilities Plumber

  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in an industrial or utility-producing system.
  • Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and replace large-diameter piping in the campus main transmission water system, as well as maintain water and sewer mains and service lines.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license. Obtain TCEQ Class D Wastewater Treatment or Wastewater Collection I and TCEQ Class D Water Operator certification within six months of employment.

Utilities Plumber Assistant

  • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of general plumbing or maintenance experience.
  • Responsibilities: Under general supervision, receive training and assist in maintenance, repairs, and replacements of large-diameter piping within the campus main transmission water systems.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license.
