Project Superintendent Job Description
The Project Superintendent plays a key role in successfully delivering multifamily construction projects on time and within budget. This position requires a proven ability to oversee all aspects of construction, manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff, and ensure project quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects in the field.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules.
- Supervise subcontractor performance and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for effective coordination and site management.
- Implement and enforce Quality Control/Quality Assurance programs.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and company safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
