Job Description

Salary of $20.90/H + bi-annual bonus

Permanent, full-time position

Possible hours: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

Day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Workplace: 1290 Chem. Dion, Sherbrooke, QC J1R 0R8

As a Tow Truck Driver, your mission will be to safely transport vehicles of all kinds. Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating a tow truck (flatbed)
  • Transporting customer vehicles to the branch
  • Maintain accurate records of towing assignments, including vehicle information, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any special instructions
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Performing labouring tasks that may including depollution, tire dismounting, etc
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and customers to coordinate towing activities
  • Provide our customers with excellent customer service!

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing;
  • A good driving record;
  • Commitment to good health and safety practices;
  • Good communication and customer service skills;
  • Good physical health;
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs.
