We are looking for Telecom OSS PM for an enterprise scale client in Greater Toronto Area, Canada for an opportunity to work in state of the art, cutting edge technology environment.

Job Description:

  • Sound project management skills with experience across all phases of delivery
  • 8+ years of project management experience with 5+ years’ experience in OSS or Business IT Area
  • Managing multiple (2-5) parallel Telecom – OSS/BSS – Projects/ Programs with IT Application Development / Digital – OSS/BSS systems
  • Having managed Infrastructure and Network projects is an asset
  • Understand the fundamentals and be able to implement integrated project/program strategies, CAPM, PMP certification an asset
  • Define schedule and delivery plans to communicate with customers and assess risk factors
  • Demonstration of ownership and accountability in all job functions including (but not limited to) management of all communication and delivery tasks
  • Build customer relationships by providing prompt and exceptional service through communication and delivery
  • Set expectations and hold people accountable; promote teamwork through open and honest conversations and work with multiple vendors
  • Take accountability and appropriate action to efficiently resolve issues
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships within various departments
  • Proficient in using project management tools, Jira, Microsoft Office products, Remedy, oracle, Ebiz, Agile/ Scrum Master
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and an ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and able to work as part of a team
  • A strong sense of teamwork and willingness to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Good stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent communication with technical and management staff, both verbal and written
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Good Conflict Resolution skills
  • Experience of managing multiple (2-5) parallel projects
  • Managing Projects using Waterfall and Agile E2E project management lifecycle
  • Managing Project finances (Budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) & Forecasting)
  • Accountable for leading the deployment of technically complex projects.
  • Accountabilities include implementation and delivery of OSS, Platforms, Infrastructure migration projects.
