The work of the School of Education is primarily focussed on developing the skills of our teaching staff, but essential training (for example on safeguarding, health and safety, information technology, etc) is available for all our staff. Our teaching practice is highly effective, our pupils are challenged academically, and our resources are efficiently utilised to safeguard education during these times of national and economic uncertainty. A talented group of support staff ensure we have the financial expertise, effective and efficient administrative services and exceptional facilities within which to work thereby further supporting the school’s commitment to improving the outcomes of all our pupils.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and knowledgeable Teacher of English. The post would be suitable for both an ECT and a more experienced teacher who would like to develop their skills and expertise in an ambitious, well-resourced and highly successful English Faculty. Experience in teaching GCSE and/or A Level would be particularly desirable.

The team works collaboratively to continue to raise attainment but also provide the powerful knowledge our students need to be effective scholars of the subject discipline, fostering a love of language and literature.
