Job Description
ENSCO is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and creative professional to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command’s MILSATCOM Program under the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) contract. This role, based in Colorado Springs, CO, will involve working on a diverse range of strategic MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure within a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS) module dependencies in test design, procedure development, execution, and reporting.
- Utilize MPSS expertise to support sustainment test design, system configuration, engineering studies, troubleshooting, and deficiency analysis.
- Identify and isolate software and hardware defects, assess system modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues, and provide technical recommendations to the client.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, including test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, white papers, and test reports.
- Travel requirement: approximately 20%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 10+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
- 10+ years of experience in test processes and documentation.
- 4+ years of experience with MPSS, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of DoD mission system sustainment.
- Self-motivated and capable of independent learning and improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Active TS clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience handling Communications Security (COMSEC) materials and devices.
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP).
- Experience working in a competitive, multi-contractor environment.
- Experience with operating or maintaining the Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T)
