Position Summary, Responsibilities, and Expectations

This role is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning, allocation, and risk mitigation, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory challenges, such as stockouts, delays, and overstock situations, by implementing proactive improvement strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Backlog Management: Ensure on-time customer deliveries by coordinating with cross-functional teams to prioritize incoming shipments, allocate inventory, and manage customer orders based on requested shipping dates.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Plan, analyze, and initiate activities like Purchase Requisitions, Internal Transfers, Work Orders, and Rework to align supply with forecasted demand.
  • Strategic Procurement Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement and Channel Marketing teams to enhance forecast visibility and provide long-term purchasing recommendations.
  • New Product Launches: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts, ensuring smooth launch execution and sustained supply post-launch.
  • Supplier Coordination: Ensure ODM partners and component suppliers receive accurate long-term demand forecasts to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess market conditions and recommend enhancements to optimize supply chain performance.
  • SIOP Support: Participate in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities to align supply and demand.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and address supply chain disruptions, proactively leading resolution efforts with internal stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), MRP tools, BOM (Bill of Materials), Power BI, and Excel to generate insights, track trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with internal business teams to meet quarterly and annual targets, while ensuring smooth execution of supply chain strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in detailed scheduling, material planning, and supply chain management.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP), Power BI, and other analytics/reporting tools.
