What You’ll Do
- Establish and uphold governance for supply chain master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across supplier records, part details, and contractual data.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to standardize and classify commodities and parts with appropriate category codes.
- Oversee the entire master data lifecycle—from creation to retirement—while ensuring compliance with established data standards and policies.
- Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update contractual records, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
- Implement robust data control measures to prevent unauthorized access or data corruption.
- Work closely with IT and systems teams to ensure that the supply chain data infrastructure aligns with business needs and data governance protocols.
- Assist in developing training materials and procedures for master data management, ensuring teams are well-versed in best practices.
- Conduct regular data audits and cleanups to uphold high data quality standards.
- Support supply chain analytics and reporting by providing accurate, timely data insights.
- Act as a key point of contact for data-related inquiries and issues within the supply chain function.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data governance processes and data dictionaries.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain systems and processes, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and usability.
- Drive continuous improvement in data management strategies by adopting new technologies and methodologies for data analysis and visualization.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure data exchanges and feeds are accurate, timely, and aligned with internal data standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain data management within aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in data analytics, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R), data warehousing, and supply chain intelligence systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and derive insights from large datasets.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain processes and their correlation with key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
