Essential Job Functions
Customer Focus
- Leads by example, fostering a customer-first culture across all roles.
- Holds the leadership team accountable for active floor management, assigning shifts, reviewing performance, and providing feedback to ensure a five-star customer experience.
- Provides ongoing coaching and training to enhance individual selling skills, behaviors, and overall sales effectiveness.
Analysis & Decision-Making
- Manages store payroll, ensuring expenses stay within the allocated monthly budget while accurately monitoring timesheets, shifts, breaks, and meals for all employees.
- Drives the store’s success in achieving Total Monthly Income (TMI) Goals through strong leadership and operational excellence in both front-of-house and alterations.
- Oversees inventory management, including special orders, receiving processes, layaway, stock adjustments, and merchandise quality control.
Performance Management
- Communicates daily sales goals to the team and drives engagement through structured Chat Ins/Chat Outs.
- Monitors individual team performance, conducting weekly performance discussions based on customer feedback and mystery shopping results, implementing action plans for improvement.
- Develops a strong talent pipeline, ensuring the store remains fully staffed and filling open positions within 30 days.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education & Credentials
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Four+ years of retail management experience in apparel or specialty store environments.
- Experience working with a computerized POS system.
Work Hours & Physical Demands
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and peak business periods.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as needed.
