We are seeking a Staff Data Engineer with a strong full-stack engineering foundation and a passion for building robust, scalable, and data-centric solutions. This is a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure and enabling our AI-driven products to deliver maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support large-scale data processing and analytics.
Software Development: Develop and optimize full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between data systems, APIs, and user-facing components.
Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and build solutions to store, process, and retrieve data efficiently.
System Architecture: Architect data platforms that balance scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness while supporting real-time and batch processing.
Tooling & Automation: Implement tools to automate data ingestion, transformation, and quality monitoring processes.
Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product teams to understand their data needs and build systems that empower their work.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:
Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with a focus on data-intensive systems.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for backend development.
Strong frontend development skills using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with big data tools and frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Data Architecture & Engineering:
Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Experience designing data lakes, warehouses, and streaming systems.
Proficiency in ETL/ELT development and data transformation techniques.
Additional Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A passion for creating reliable, maintainable, and high-performing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Background in handling high-throughput, low-latency systems.
Previous experience in a startup environment or a fast-paced, agile team.
