This position requires an onsite presence at our beautiful downtown Bradenton office. About the Role:
As an Audit Staff, you will be responsible for performing audit procedures and assisting the team with preparing financial statements. This includes procedures such as testing transactions (disbursements, payroll, and revenue), as well as auditing balance sheet accounts (such as cash, property & equipment, and accounts payable). Audit Staff also assist the team in performing analytical procedures for major financial statement categories.
Position Responsibilities and Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of accounting required.
- Generally, a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant audit experience within a public accounting firm.
- Licenses and Certificates: Additional post-graduate credits to be eligible for the Florida CPA exam, preferred.
