Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
- Participate in audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with nonprofit accounting guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and financial planning
