About the Job
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator, the teacher will provide high-quality education to severely handicapped students ranging from 18 months to 22 years old. This role emphasizes collaborative team planning and the implementation of student programs focused on:
- Functional, community-based curriculum
- Communication and social skill development
- Interagency cooperation
- Strong parent-teacher-student connections
Teachers in this position have the opportunity to explore and implement adaptive technology, vocational education, and inclusion strategies with non-disabled peers. Additional related responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications
