Onward Search is seeking a dedicated Behavior Special Education Teacher to join a middle school team in Clackamas County, Oregon. This role focuses on creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment for students with behavioral and emotional challenges, fostering both academic and emotional growth.
Job Duties:
- Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Implement behavioral interventions, structured classroom management, and systems-oriented support.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and staff to create individualized learning plans.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License in Special Education
- Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
- Strong background in behavioral interventions and classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
