Onward Search is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join an elementary resource room team in Wasco County, OR. This full-time position supports approximately 25-30 students and runs through the end of the school year.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide instruction and support in both individual and small group settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
- Previous experience working in a resource room or special education setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
