About the Job
Charles Schwab is seeking a Social Media Senior Manager to create and execute social media strategies for the Schwab Network brand. This role involves overseeing social media platforms, leading content planning and creation, and collaborating with various teams to increase brand awareness, followers, views, and engagement.
Responsibilities include performance analysis and reporting, ensuring a consistent social media approach, creating and managing paid campaigns, conducting market research and competitor analysis, contributing creative content ideas, managing the social media budget, monitoring brand reputation, developing cross-promotion campaigns, responding to inquiries, escalating client complaints, and managing a direct report responsible for social media content creation.
A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field is required, along with 5 years of experience with social platforms and related technologies. Strong familiarity with social media strategy development, a deep understanding of financial markets and news cycles, and prior management/leadership experience are also required. Outstanding communication and project management skills are preferred.
The role offers a hybrid work schedule (4 days in office for the first six months, then 3 days). In addition to salary, bonus or incentive opportunities are available.
