Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for maintenance and repairs? We’re looking for a Site Maintenance Assistant to help keep our school facilities in top condition. As a Site Maintenance Assistant, you’ll ensure our buildings and outdoor spaces are safe, secure, and well-maintained, creating a great environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Hours: Shifts between 6:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday, on a rotating early/late schedule.
Salary: Grade 5 – £25,583 – £27,332 (1 FTE DOE).

Key Responsibilities of the Site Maintenance Assistant
General maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical work, and handyman duties.
Routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Setup and takedown of equipment for school events.
Quickly responding to maintenance requests to keep the school running efficiently.
Outdoor upkeep, including general tidying and basic landscaping.
Organizing tools and supplies to maintain an efficient workspace.
What We’re Looking For in a Site Maintenance Assistant
Experience in maintenance, repairs, or a trade.
A proactive approach with great problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
Bonus skills: Plumbing, electrical, painting & decorating experience is a plus!
