Responsibilities
Support the VP in managing contracts, costs, schedules, safety, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process.
Will also be accountable for maintaining relationships with the clients, subcontractors, building trust and value throughout the construction process.
Reporting / Cost Controlling / Preconstruction / Process Improvement / Scheduling / RFI Management / Change Management / Subcontractor Management / Team Leading /Client Management.
Leading a team of 3 direct reports to manage Mid Rise Projects over 120M
Qualifications
B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, related field and/or related construction experience.
10-25 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor in Multifamily, Hotels, Commercial, High-End Condos…Ground up / Renovations. (Projects over 80M)
To be successful you need to be able to read construction drawings, coordination, and be familiar with South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market.
Organizational, administrative, and communication skills are also crucial to the success of the role.
Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software’s are important.
