2 year contract

Remote in Ontario – may have to go in once per month/quarter

Salary: 120k

 

Must haves:

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Project Manager in a technical/IT environment.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or master’s in project management.
• Proven experience managing project budgets of $1 million or greater, including tracking and monitoring project financials.
• Hands-on experience with complex IT initiatives, system integration projects, custom software development, and vendor-supplied system implementations.
• Expertise in leading technology projects from concept to launch, including procurement of technology solutions and vendor relationship management.
• Strong collaboration and consensus-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical information into plain language.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in professional settings.

 

Nice to haves:

• Experience leading or supporting public sector technology procurements.
• Network Program management experience is an asset.
• Background in academic research, post-secondary education, or life sciences environments.
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, or Organizational Change Management.
• Familiarity with product management, agile methodologies, ITIL change management, and ITSM best practices.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT projects and programs for a highly collaborative and dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative technology solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals and strategic drivers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including initiation, procurement, contracting, delivery, and implementation.
• Develop key project documents such as charters, delivery plans, risk logs, budgets, and organizational change management strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams of analysts, developers, coordinators, and business stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
• Support program management activities, including resource planning, roadmap alignment, and risk mitigation.
