Our Client is a household name in the world of data communication solutions. Within 2.5 years, they have witnessed an incredible growth from 0-65,000+ subscribers and have built a reputation as an innovative and easy-to-use communications product for those who work, travel, or live in remote areas. Their product has won numerous awards in the category, including multiple Product of the Year accolades.
The Opportunity:
This role will own and drive the Product strategy and technical project management for all aspects of the client’s equipment and accessories. This would include working with design, development and manufacturing teams.
The successful candidate will be the primary technical and commercial contact with external engineering, industrial design firms and contract manufacturers.
This role will also own the Product roadmap for future innovation of the Product line.
The Skills/Requirement Needed to Succeed:
- Product design and development experience in the consumer electronics or satellite communications industry, with an emphasis on antenna and RF technology.
- Ability to directly oversee and provide direction to product design and engineering, production engineering, and manufacturing QA activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of satellite communication technologies, consumer electronics components, supply chains, and manufacturing processes
