Our company, a growing mid-size technology consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage and implement all payroll activities, including all regular payroll processing and assisting with some HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Review timesheet reports to ensure information is accurate, complete, and hours worked are timely approved.
- Review & prepare employees expense reimbursements payments.
- Process onboarding and offboarding transactions in the payroll system following the company’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records updated both in our payroll and in our billing tracking hours system.
- Prepare, audit, and process all payroll related transactions and pay adjustments.
- Review overtime calculations.
- Monitor vacation and sick days employees balances to follow each business line policies.
- Prepare terminations payments.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to employee handbook policies.
- Assist with Ad hoc payroll reports and analysis.
- Assist with other human resources and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years or more in payroll related activities.
- Experience with Payroll systems.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
