We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network technologies, protocols, and best practices and will ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of the organization’s network systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.

• Configure and optimize network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.

• Implement and manage network security solutions, including VPNs, IPS/IDS, and firewalls.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and enforce network policies and standards.

• Perform regular network assessments and capacity planning to ensure scalability.

• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for operational efficiency.

• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.

• Work with vendors to evaluate and deploy new networking solutions and technologies.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar are highly desirable.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture.

• Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade network equipment.

• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).

• Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in designing and managing SD-WAN solutions.

• Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).

• Experience in large enterprise environments or data centers.
