We’re looking for a highly-skilled UK-based Senior Front-End Developer to join a Tech-for-Good SaaS business that helps educate millions of children globally. They’ll need to see you at their Bristol HQ once a month for the first few months, but after that it’s up to you. They’re a truly talented bunch, so the bar is very high when it comes to React, Accessibility and JS/TS.

What skills you’ll be needing

  • Significant experience with React, Redux, Typescript & Javascript.
  • A love for writing high quality code.
  • Demonstrable success across development, testing, automation, ops and support.
  • Experience running apps / web on GCP or similar.
  • Enjoy being part of an open and collaborative, small team.
  • UK based.

What you’ll be doing

Joining a new micro team within the business, you will be working with a new backend developer (Node), a tester with deep knowledge of their product and a full-stack developer on their GCP hosted app, admin panels, data dashboards and internal tools. There’s another micro team who’ve been working on the product for years, running alongside you and the new team.

You’ll be writing high quality code whilst working closely with their tech support team and non-technical staff. Your experience and wisdom will be hugely appreciated as the business continues to grow, passing on your skills and suggesting improvements.

Being reliable, driven to keep improving through self-learning and a desire to be in a TFG are key elements to being the right culture fit here.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

You’ll be making a really strong contribution to a world renowned resource helping millions of children to learn and have fun. There’s a very competitive salary (£75K-90K), health scheme, 24 days holiday + BH’s, access to courses/training, pension, cycle scheme, remote working (Minimum 1 trip to Bristol initially, then fully remote if you’d like).

A truly great chance here to join a hugely successful Tech-for-Good, SaaS and Google-partnered business with ambition and a valuable mission.
