Responsibilities

Who are you?

The Senior DevOps Engineer is a proven technical expert in the areas of Azure cloud infrastructure design and administration, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD patterns and technologies. As a subject matter expert, the Senior DevOps Engineer will partner with software engineers, site reliability engineers, and infrastructure engineers to build performant and scalable solutions, share expertise, and ensure adherence to best practices.

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:

  • Maintain and evolve Personify Health’s Cloud computing infrastructure, focusing on cloud security, scaling, cost optimization, and automation
  • Support and evolve CI/CD capabilities and pipelines
  • Support continuous improvements to existing infrastructure, tools, and processes
  • Evolve our technology roadmap, recommending and adapting to our evolving architecture
  • Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
  • Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
    • 5 years of experience in Enterprise DevOps
    • 5 years experience maintaining Microsoft Azure workloads in Production environments
    • Strong understanding of security best practices for Azure infrastructure and web services
    • Azure certification at Associate level or higher is preferred
    • Understand source control (Git), Branching, and semantic versioning
    • Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible experience
    • Competence with TCP/IP networking and Virtual Network constructs
    • Comfortable in Agile Scrum development framework
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Experience with Kubernetes is desirable.
    • Some experience with AWS is helpful.
    • Previous experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries preferred
