Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for their Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics Division (RMDx) at their Lake Forest, IL or Willis Tower locations.
Role Overview:
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will provide security guidance for enterprise and product cybersecurity operations, ensuring secure design and development of applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity tool implementation.
- Analyze emerging technologies and design secure architectures.
- Guide business units and vendors to achieve program requirements.
- Develop cybersecurity strategies, policies, and standards.
- Participate in project meetings as a security consultant.
- Stay updated on security changes impacting regulatory and industry best practices.
- Contribute to a risk-based cybersecurity program.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

Required Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in cybersecurity.

- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Expertise in NIST, ISO 27001/2, SOC2, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and FDA.
- Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Self-motivated and well-organized.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- CISM Certification.
- Experience in medical device product security.
- Familiarity with threat modeling methodologies.
- Audit and Risk Management experience.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Effective decision-making skills.
