A trusted accounting firm in Iselin, NJ, that is committed to providing exceptional audit, tax, and advisory services to a wide range of clients is looking to add an Audit Senior Associate and an Audit Supervisor to their growing team.
Position Overview: You will play a key role in the audit process, managing client relationships, leading audit engagements, and providing guidance to junior staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about auditing and looking to further develop their career in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients across different industries including: banking, private equity, private lending, hedge funds, asset management, mortgage banking and real estate.
- Review and supervise work performed by junior associates, providing training, mentoring, and feedback.
- Plan and execute audit engagements, including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing any questions or concerns and communicating audit findings effectively.
- Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies during audit procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation (or in progress) is preferred.
- 2-5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting software
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
