Security Specialist – Drive Cybersecurity Excellence
Are you a Security Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity in the banking industry? We are hiring a Security Specialist to lead risk management initiatives, enforce IAM controls, and enhance cybersecurity policies. This is a 12-month hybrid contract based in Toronto, starting March 17th.

Security Specialist Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on technology risk policies, security procedures, and compliance regulations
- Support role-based access control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SOD) policies
- Conduct security risk assessments and analyze IAM control effectiveness
- Monitor security governance frameworks, detecting and preventing threats
- Provide consultation on regulatory compliance and audit issues
- Promote cybersecurity best practices and risk management culture
Key Qualifications for Security Specialist Role
- 7-10 years of experience in IT security and risk management
- Expertise in IAM controls, security risk assessment, and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and security analytics tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Nice to have: Experience with SailPoint, banking security frameworks, and cloud security
