Cyber Security Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization’s computer systems and networks from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, and implementing effective security measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with CMMC certification standards.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to address emerging threats.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network and application architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Respond to security incidents and manage incident response processes effectively.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CMMC Certification or equivalent cybersecurity certification is required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and practices.
- Familiarity with network and system security concepts and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
