Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate and monitor security risks associated with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance & Assurance: Work closely with vendors to maintain documentation and processes required for certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Security Audits & Assessments: Conduct vendor security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as a bridge between internal security teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth compliance workflows.
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine security frameworks, policies, and procedures to improve vendor security management.
Key Qualifications for a Security Analyst
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in security, vendor management, or compliance.
- Strong understanding of security risk assessments and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to changing security needs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
