Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate and monitor security risks associated with third-party vendors, ensuring they meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance & Assurance: Work closely with vendors to maintain documentation and processes required for certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
  • Security Audits & Assessments: Conduct vendor security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Act as a bridge between internal security teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth compliance workflows.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine security frameworks, policies, and procedures to improve vendor security management.

Key Qualifications for a Security Analyst

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in security, vendor management, or compliance.
  • Strong understanding of security risk assessments and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to changing security needs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Experience with security tools and platforms used for third-party risk management is a plus.
