Role: Security Analyst
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Work model: Hybrid – Fulltime
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves:
- Holds an active Security Clearance
- 2-4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or in a cybersecurity-related role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and common cyber threats (malware, phishing, DDoS, etc.).
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and their security principles.
- Basic understanding of scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline security tasks.
