Select Savvy is seeking an exceptional School Psychologist to work with a respected school in the Palatine, IL area. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to design interventions that support student success.
- Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing academic or emotional challenges.
- Offer crisis intervention and prevention services as needed.
- Educate school personnel and families on mental health issues and strategies to support student well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement is required.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration.
- Dedication to fostering a safe and supportive environment for students.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
