About the Role: Cover Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cover Supervisor to join our team.
Your primary duty will be to supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences, as well as assisting in preparing the learning environment and necessary materials. You will cover lessons across all subjects, using the cover work provided by the teacher, setting high expectations to motivate and challenge students while managing behavior effectively and promoting a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will sometimes be responsible for creating the daily cover rota for absent staff and contacting supply agencies. When not covering classes, you will provide classroom support as directed.
This role is ideal for individuals considering a teaching career, but we welcome applications from anyone with integrity, imagination, and energy for this rewarding position.
