Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative based in Austin/West Texas area. This outside Sales Representative is responsible for the overall sales and profitability in the territory by developing a sales strategy to drive profit growth, maximize satisfaction of customers, and develop a consistent line of repeat business that delivers opportunities for expanded growth.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 – $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What You Will Do
- Develop and foster close relationships with new and existing glazing and general contracting companies in the territory
- Develop pipeline, and progress opportunities through the sales funnel while accurately forecasting revenue
- Work closely with other sales staff by attending customer meetings on site, via phone, and at trade association events
- Maintain accurate Salesforce contacts, accounts, opportunities, and relevant fields for forecasting product needs for manufacturing and sales leadership
- Communicate with Regional Sales management regarding sales forecasting
What We Require
- High school diploma
- Territory travel as required – up to 75%+ (including training and business meetings)
What We Prefer
- Associate, Bachelor, or Technical degree
- 5+ years of industry experience/automatic door knowledge
- Construction materials experience selling to glass houses/glazers or general contractors with 3+ years proven field sales experience
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
