About the Role

As a Sales Representative with Kimball Midwest, you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by cultivating relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering high-quality MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) solutions. You’ll manage a designated sales territory, combining strategic planning, product expertise, and relationship-building to generate new opportunities and grow existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
    Build lasting relationships within your territory, developing a deep understanding of customer operations and recommending value-driven solutions.

  • Prospecting & Cold Calling
    Identify and connect with new customers to expand your book of business—growing from the ground up is part of our culture.

  • Territory Planning
    Strategically plan your weekly schedule in advance to maximize customer interactions and sales opportunities.

  • Product Demonstration & Knowledge
    Present our U.S.-made products to showcase quality, performance, and cost-saving benefits.

  • Sales Performance
    Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets by implementing proven sales strategies and participating in company training programs.

  • Reporting & Insights
    Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and cost-saving outcomes using company-provided tools and systems.


Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with insurance coverage to travel within assigned territory

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Comfortable using personal devices in accordance with company BYOD policy

  • Willingness to sign and adhere to employment agreements as provided
