Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to drive corporate initiatives, focusing on key janitorial segments such as chemicals, paper, food service, and packaging.
  • Develop and execute sales penetration strategies targeting industries including hospitality, healthcare, industrial, public sector, education, and foodservice.
  • Set and achieve sales and gross margin goals while supporting company-wide programs and strategies.
  • Focus on promoting BradyPLUS core vendor lines, including chemicals, soap, liners, paper, and foodservice disposables.
  • Take a proactive approach to the sales process by hunting, qualifying, presenting, closing, and following up on new business opportunities.
  • Expand product knowledge to guide customers in making informed decisions, helping them explore alternatives and avoid potential challenges.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through field activities.
  • Maintain sales materials and up-to-date product knowledge to effectively support client needs.
  • Prepare sales presentations, proposals, contracts, activation documents, and status reports, while tracking sales activities, goals, closings, and follow-ups.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturers to expand market share for key brands the company represents.
  • Partner with the marketing and contracts teams to develop sales-related materials and ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Address and resolve client concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct gap analysis and identify white-space opportunities for increased customer penetration and organic growth.
  • Manage customer pricing files and cost structures, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Communicate with procurement teams to anticipate and fulfill customer inventory demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support sales and business growth.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; a college degree in sales, marketing, or business is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of sales or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrates alignment with BradyPLUS Core Values.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong drive for success.
  • CRM experience preferred; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to engage, challenge, and motivate customers to drive sales.
