Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiology Unit

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology Unit. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care, utilizing nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practices. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care following Relationship-Centered Care principles.

  • Assess, evaluate, and manage patient needs using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, health promotion, and disease prevention.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and assess patient care plans.

  • Maintain a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement in care delivery.

  • Perform charge nurse duties as needed, including coordinating supplies and staffing resources effectively.

Skills & Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of med/surg with telemetry experience.

  • 1 year of travel nursing experience (preferred for travel positions).

Certifications:

  • Active NYS RN License

  • BLS, ACLS, and EKG certification

Education:

  • BSN preferred (Associate degree with relevant experience considered).

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency with the EPIC system (highly preferred).
