We are hiring a Retail Pharmacy Technician for a fast-paced automation role at Advocate Health in Menomonee Falls, WI. This position is ideal for candidates who excel in filling prescriptions, processing orders, and maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Job Details

Location: Onsite at Advocate Health, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Shifts Available:

•  5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  Hours Per Week: Up to 40 hours (flexibility required)
  Duration: Open-ended contract, with potential for direct hire in the future

Key Responsibilities of a Retail Pharmacy Technician

Automation & Prescription Processing

• Perform filling tasks and process prescriptions in an automated environment.
• Maintain focus and efficiency while standing for the entire shift.
• Ensure accuracy in medication handling additional to order fulfillment.

Compliance & Scheduling

• Hold an active Wisconsin State Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification.
• Also work flexible shifts (5 AM – 1:30 PM and 9:30 AM – 6 PM) as needed.
• Be prepared to cover shifts every other Saturday if requested (no on-call or holiday requirements).

Qualifications for a Retail Pharmacy Technician

Minimum Requirements

• Firstly, 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Secondly, Active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification.
• Moreover, Automation experience in a pharmacy setting.

Preferred Skills & Environment

• Tech-savvy and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while being supported by two lead techs and a team of pharmacy technicians.
• Furthermore, Casual yet professional attire required.
