Are you an expert in Canadian food regulations, passionate about helping businesses navigate the complexities of importing and selling food products in Canada? AgriAssure is seeking experienced CFIA compliance professionals to join our on-call pool of consultants. You will be required to provide details on the number of hours that you can work per week and the time window that works best for your schedule to allow for seamless customer bookings.
At AgriAssure, we are revolutionizing regulatory compliance in the Canadian agriculture and food processing industry through innovative solutions. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with personalized, expert guidance on Canadian import processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one consultations to clients through our platform, addressing their specific regulatory needs.
• Offer expertise in food labelling, import permits, product testing, packaging requirements, and other CFIA guidelines.
• Guide clients in the development of Preventive Control Plans (PCPs) to meet CFIA requirements.
• Assist clients in creating effective Recall and Complaints procedures to ensure compliance with Canadian regulations.
• Help businesses understand and comply with Canadian food safety and regulatory standards.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations tailored to the unique needs of each client.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) regulations and processes.
• Experience in food labelling, permits, testing, packaging compliance, and PCP development.
• Expertise in designing and implementing Recall and Complaints procedures.
• Proven track record of guiding businesses through Canadian import processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex regulatory information for diverse audiences.
• Flexibility to provide on-demand consultations during agreed-upon availability.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in a remote setting.
