About Us

We have an excellent location, being just 20 minutes away from Nottingham and Derby city centre and close enough to enjoy the outdoors of the peak district. Attenborough nature reserve is on our doorstep and there is also lots of retail therapy. Rail and Air travel is also close by.
We are a gold ISFM practice and a silver RWAF practice, we were awarded an ACE award (Aspiring clinical excellence) from Vets for Pets also. We have exotic certificate holders and see a varied case load.
About You
You’ll help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about, the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. They key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
Becoming part of our nursing team will allow you to be involved in all aspects of nursing care, whatever your interests may be! We rotate between theatre, clinics, prep and nurse schedule three procedures. Our nurses are utilised to their fullest potential, and we actively encourage and support you in any way we can
About The Role
Full-time hours would be 9am – 6pm 4 days a week with one day off a week and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8:30am – 12pm. The team work together to ensure that we leave on time and little over time is required (any over time is paid). We’re also able to consider part time candidates so please don’t hesitate to reach out to us
