Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Practical Nurse at Omni Quality Living in Cobourg, ON. The Registered Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Patient assessment, Care planning, and Medication administration skills
- Wound care and Infection control knowledge
- Effective communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies
- Valid Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is an asset
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and protocols
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
