RN Job Overview

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled nursing professional who can make informed care decisions, reassess patient conditions, and prioritize care based on individual needs.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
  • Previous nursing experience preferred but not required.

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Active RN license in the State of Vermont.
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Department-specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC).
  • Completion of an approved patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint certification program, per unit guidelines.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Proven competency in acute-care nursing.
  • Moderate computer proficiency for electronic medical records.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
