As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient group. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individual care plans while supporting patients’ mental health and wellbeing in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, maintaining high standards of care
- Assess and evaluate patients’ mental health needs, creating and reviewing care plans
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
- Support patients with daily activities, promoting positive mental health and recovery
- Participate in clinical supervision, personal development, and training opportunities
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
- Previous experience in mental health nursing
- Must have an up-to-date Bild accredited PMVA certificate or a blue card
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach
- Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development
