Child Care Council is a Child Care Aware® Quality Assured agency dedicated to providing information, training, and resources to child care providers and parents across Livingston, Monroe, and Wayne counties in New York.

Responsibilities
- Implement the EWPHCCS curriculum in nine childcare centers annually, engaging preschool-aged children, families, and staff.
- Conduct food demonstrations and share valuable nutrition information with parents.
- Purchase fruits and vegetables for child lessons using grant funds.
- Deliver four staff nutrition training sessions per center.
- Perform weekly data entry, tracking completed implementation steps.
- Collaborate within a team to ensure all EWPHCCS activities are carried out efficiently, cohesively, and within grant deadlines.
- Participate in additional nutrition-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD exam eligibility within six months of hire.
- Reliable daily transportation and willingness to travel to childcare centers in Monroe, Wayne, Livingston, and surrounding counties.
- Preferred experience in nutrition education for both children and adults.
- Strong attention to detail, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent work ethic with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable with building relationships and working with diverse groups.
