    Position Overview

    Hale Makua Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to oversee and coordinate nutritional care for our residents, guests, and Kupuna.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Guide staff in monitoring nutritional care outcomes and ensuring appropriate interventions.
    • Conduct timely assessments of clients in accordance with federal and state regulations.
    • Review and approve menus and snack lists on a monthly basis.
    • Develop and modify personalized care plans to support residents’ nutritional needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
    • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification with the American Dietetic Association and Hawaii state licensure, if applicable.
    • Minimum of 2 years of food service experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare program preferred.
    • Must meet continuing education requirements set by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
